From One Bunco Night to 2,000 Amazing Women: The Story Behind Our Community
If you had told me a few years ago that a simple Bunco night would grow into a community of more than 2,000 women, I never would have believed you.
The truth is, this all started for one very simple reason.
My mom needed friends.
Like so many women, she found herself in a season of life where making new connections wasn't easy. Life gets busy. Kids grow up. Careers change. People move away. Before you know it, your social circle looks a lot different than it used to.
So I thought, "Why don't we just invite some women over to play Bunco?"
That's it. No grand business plan. No big vision. Just a fun game and the hope that everyone would have a good time.
They did.
After that first Bunco night, the women didn't want it to end. They wanted to get together again. Soon we were planning dinners, bingo nights, craft parties, holiday celebrations, game nights, and all kinds of fun outings.
As our group grew, something unexpected happened.
We kept hearing the same story over and over again.
"I've been wanting to meet new friends."
"It's so hard to make friends as an adult."
"I don't really want to go to bars to meet people."
"I've been looking for something exactly like this."
It didn't matter if someone was new to town, recently divorced, an empty nester, a busy mom, or simply ready to expand her circle—they were all looking for the same thing: genuine connection.
And then I realized something else...
I needed this community just as much as everyone else.
Like so many women in my 30s, I discovered that making meaningful friendships as an adult isn't nearly as easy as it was in school or college. Everyone has different schedules, responsibilities, and priorities, and it can feel intimidating to put yourself out there.
But this group changed that for me.
Some of the women I met through these events have become some of my closest friends. We laughed together, celebrated milestones together, supported each other through life's challenges, and built friendships that started with something as simple as rolling dice around a Bunco table.
Today, our community is more than 2,000 women strong, and every time we welcome someone new, we're reminded why we started.
Our mission has never changed.
We want to create a space where women can show up exactly as they are—without pressure, without cliques, and without feeling like they have to know someone before they come.
Whether it's Bunco, Mahjong, dinner, bingo, a craft night, or a weekend outing, every event is another opportunity for someone to walk in feeling a little nervous... and leave with a new friend.
There's something really special about watching strangers become friends.
We've seen women find travel buddies, walking partners, book club friends, brunch dates, and lifelong connections. We've watched shy first-timers become regulars who now welcome new members with open arms.
That's what this community is all about.
It's proof that friendship doesn't have an age limit.
You don't stop needing connection after your 20s.
And sometimes, all it takes is saying "yes" to one event.
Who knew a little game of Bunco could start something so incredible?
If you've been thinking about coming to an event but have been a little nervous, consider this your sign.
We saved you a seat.
Come as a stranger.
Leave with friends.
